I was surprised to see that Burghfield is still frozen (spotted from the M4 yesterday).

Maybe because Cheddar (BC) is somewhat sheltered from the North & East and is closer to the Bristol Channel, whereas Chew is more elevated and exposed to the north and east.  Well, as far as I can tell from Google Terrain

they did that at hunts a few weeks ago as well but it just delayed the start even longer because of the odd ice berg

Hunts frozen over again today.  A few nutters were mad enough to go out in the snow on Monday, and the same nutters want to go out this Saturday, so let's hope it thaws.

It was completely frozen, I will keep you all posted and if it looks bad later today we'll postpone tomorrow.

Makes me glad we sail on the sea only three weeks to go before we start and the water temp is 6 degress brrrr cold for the sea.
