Epoxy mixed with sugar, whack it on. let it dry a bit, whack some hot water on top, sugar dissolves, and you get a good grippy but abrasive deck. Got it on the 49er. Ruins wetsuits but since you never sit down on 49er it doesn't matter.

Cheapest option would be to use surf wax but it will look dirty after a while

beaten to it

'sex wax' not sure where you get the stuff from but you just rub it on and it gives you a grippy surface for quite some time, much cheaper way of doing it than progrip, just doesnt look as good.

Are you slipping on the inside? or just the side decks? i haver never found the middle slippy, but the edge was really bad when i first got my boat, pro-gripped the gunwhales and i was off!

Thats the only thing thats happening in my 6 at the moment.

The boat is quite old (older than me!) therefore all the grip has worn off. I don't really want to cover my boats insides with progrip as that would cost over £60 and don't have that handy!

What should i use? I've heard about people using sand in the varnish on a furball etc. but what should i use on a fibreglass boat?

Thanks in advance!

Mark.
