i think the best answer to what to sail at 7 stone is stay in the mirror, because you're far too light to sail a 420 etc. unles you have a huge crew- and there arnt that many 12 stone crews in junior sailing! Or of course you could wait til your 7.5 to 8 stone then your the minimum weight for a topper, which has a great fleet and very high quality |

there faster than mirrors, and you can get away from the junior classes with square bows- mirror and oppy! Sailor Girls right a topper prob. weouldn't be a good move from a mirror, wait till your at least 8.5 stone and go in a 420. |

yup i agree, there are better boats around in youth sailing that don'yt have as good a fleet due to rya choosing to support different classes, i'm no cat expert but i think (judgeing by hurris response) that the hobie 16 isnt the best cat to choose!
