Awesome pictures! Don't suppose there's and of a pair of devilishly handsome chaps in an Alto is there?

Great event - lots of fun today swapping places all around the course with that red Canoe (think we just pipped him at the finish).

Not sure its wise to draw that conclusion, there were 6 Merlins and 1 Icon. On elapsed time the Icon placed 4th of those 7 in the first two races, 5th from 7 in the 3rd and 4th from 6 in the last, so it was pretty much in the middle of the Merlin fleet on the water.

Nice sharp shots Boatshed, I especially like the 2nd one of Colin Newman...

Kind of, I wasn't really counting the old Merlin's that don't represent the current state of the art.

The orange canoe above looks real weapon.

If you love dinghy sailing, let alone racing, you should sail a canoe a few times in your life...

Great photo's BTW

Quite right ... we are going to have to sack those dozy useless old gits and recruit a decent and considerably younger crew who know what is what !    This lot seem to have enjoyed themselves far too much again and are now letting the side down ... and not for the first time.  We have heard all sorts of new and disturbing rumours about Curry and beer and don't get me going on the excuses they are promoting about their racing calamities already.   Do you know any capable teetotallers who can take simple instructions and NOT screw it up quite so often.. or break that dangly pole next time ?  Got knows what they would do if they were entrusted with a 3rd sail in a vain attempt to chase after those Merlins  ... it is all far too frightening already.

And if that fails we already know we can count on your continued support in campaigning for a more flattering PN...  Wink   'Help the aged' might have a new meaning.
