I would be careful about saying this on here! I think we've agreed gennaker/assy spinnakers don't lift the bow out of the water.... Tongue

Just finally seen the video. (wont work on my Iphone) Would be interested in seeing it go upwind for more than 7 seconds.  Also how it performs sailing at a proper down wind angle instead of being heated up so much its on its ear with the kite colapsing.

Also as mentioned before the mast, boom and gooseneck are the same as the D1, albeit i am sure there are some length changes.  If it is going to be much faster than us in the D1 what PY will it be running off?  We are currently 953, Which is pretty quick for a hiker single hander.  If you take away planks and foils i dont think there is a fasster single hander, hiker than the D1 currently.  How and who have you been comparing boat speed with in the D1 fleet? Or is it just an opinion taken from some Youtube clips?

Is there any other way? Look Russ, the guy says its faster than a D One - can't we just believe him?

I mean Devoti would never publish a video of a D1 against a 700 filmed from a clever angle.... Wink
