it is bloody hard to do. we used to do it when raceing going across the line same as the backflip off the wire( not showboating at all)

seen that done off a laser 3000, it looked great until the trapeze hook fell out of the harness when they were trying to get back in

put the harness on backwards and then go out feet first, hands on the gunwhale, facing down - much easier
