I did another salute by accident whilst sailing Aqua on Saturday - a huuuuge gust hit. Later on loads of wind came through plymouth at night - 100 mph... ooOOOoo

But anywho - twining upwind on Sat, flat wiring - both main and jib flogging, capsized, hail stones going vertically into my eyes - tried to bring it up once the wind had eased a bit - boat came up head to wind and just soding blew backwards! Bows clean up and out, I was a lil concerned as it was now heading for me on the return to the water!!!  Only guess is that the shear strength of the wind - and the boat head to wind was too much windage!! Soon came in after that! haha

No damage, and despite yachts being blown over down here - Aquas lashed down like a little beauty!

But andy who made it out to the sound without capsizing, and rode the gust in with the kite up(for a bit)? you want to get urself a fireball, we were loving it on saturday! umm until we got hit by a idiot in a fishin boat

That can't have helped matters! Reckon you could stop that by putting some of those little silica gel sachets in there that come in new shoes?!

yes I have lot's of liquid stuff to put on the lens, but you have to remember to use it.
