it's nothing new... I remember when I first joined this forum there were a couple of keen young cherubim who put foils on their Cherub....  LOL

Try simply copying from www through to end of CAQ on the original post and paste this straight into browser - works!

Hi Chris
How did you manage to have the sound of hail stones on the boom but no communication between helm and crew, to much swearing and had to be edited out? I am sure all sorts of useful and helpful comments were being made if not your both saints.

Gordon,

We had the waterproof (solid) back of the GoPro on, which means it does not pick up sound very well, although vibration gets through easily enough, and it was the large hailstones bouncing on to the boom that did this.
Largest hailstones I've ever seen in the UK I think - you can see some if played in full screen.

No, it was all was calm on board of course.....(either that or good editing )

The Finn video from the european medal race is superb.
is it just me or does Giles look smoother than the others both up and down wind?
