Thought it looked familiar! There is a very active Finn fleet at Mengeham if you're ever down that way, they are a friendly bunch.

Yup, there's a nice fleet at bosham as well about 5-10 boats most handicap races, but you're right from what i've heard there's a very good fleet of Finns at Mengeham. And anyone who's willing to traipse over that much mud to go sailing when the tide's out must be dedicated.

Huge waves in rock?

Actually even I was surprised  first time I'd seen them that high !

And Carshalton and BBSC did pretty well

They werent so much high as WEIRD!!  The second day of the 4000 nats killed my knees!! constantly in and out on every wave....ooooowwwwwww!!

What about Monday ?

the first 2 days were hell for everyone ! we were trying to trapeze a 5000 and that was hard work
