That techs been around probably longer than the Stand Up Paddle board market. I think it first appeared in Zodiac Inflatables 20 years ago?

I like that thing, looks like a giggle in a blow and great to keep in the shed etc... I fear it is not cheap though, I think I searched and had a sharp intake of breath.

I remember seeing the price when we previously had a pic of it. Just seemed to not match the product at all.

Some Fiagro sailing with the Artemis boys- Cowes to Plymouth, we saw 40knots on the way a few times but it was a bit hectic to get the GoPro out!

Enjoy :)

Excellent video of the Stevie Nick!! We were in a 400 out for the next race that they abandoned so I would have hoped to be able to better that unfortunately the camera didn't survive!!! Putting it on the end of the boom with the main flogging that hard may not have been the best idea!!!

It was a bloody mess wasnt it.  I was out in the D1.  When the storm set in it was one of the scariest moments for me on the water.  Thunder and lightning rattling around us, hale, sat upside down on a boat with massive waves on a bloody lake.  I think i stayed upright the lingest which was about 2 minutes!  Some right carnage on land with a boat blown actually on top of an Audi A5, a 400 with a snapped mast and the fordeck removed.  Other than being scared stiff it was yet again a great event.

Tim, i have never seen anything like it.  The whole fleet were upside down, people left clinging to Buoys.  Probably the scariest situation i have found myself in a boat.  It too a lot of effort to keep the boat upside down the wind was trying to lift the thing out of the bloody water!  I have been looking online to try and find what the peak  wind speed was for that time.  Forum wind speed joking aside, i would expect it to of been at least 50MPH for a sustained amount of time at the very least.

tiles were stripped off the roof of our office blocks, chevron signs uprooted, hedgerows gone, cars smashed up by loose debris and 50kg planters blown 100 yards down the road.... a bit chuffin' windy around here.

Certianly got the adrenalin going that was for sure!!! Think you may have crossed the line just ahead of us think it was a D-One near us at the committee boat end!!! We were in RS400-1370.

We did come across Nick Craig later on a good few capsizes later, I was intrigued how quick his D-One blew down on top us, even when both capsized he came down on us at quite a rate, it was only his skill at managing to lift his rig over us that stopped us both getting a lot of damage, cos as you say waves were huge for a pond!!!!

Wonder what happened to the K6 and VX-One, us dinghies just got flattened what happened to folks with lead on!!!!
