I feel Dirty..

GRF - it might interest you that paradoxically, I have always voted Conservative but this time voted Lib Dem for the first time.

A big reason I did so was because they are the only party with an atheist as their leader, so I can be sure that there's a good chance of him being a sensible man who makes decisions based on reason rather than on what he thinks his invisible friend in the sky would like him to do.

Being able to tell the difference between imagination and reality is a skill which I would rate as very important in someone who has their finger hovering over a nuclear missile button..

And my constituency is very marginal. I'm glad I canceled out your vote.

Lib Dem vote up nationally, but they're down a load of seats. What a farce.

You've just gotta hope that who ever ends up with the countries purse strings in their mitts carries on doing the right thing to get us out of the economic sh*t...

It's gonna be an interesting few days & weeks as they sort themselves out after this.

Looks like, as ever, it's more complicated than that! Proportional Representation isn't one single method. There are lots of different systems which would fall into the category.

Voted by post so no need to queue for me. Perhaps that is why the main party candidates did not feel the need to knock on my door when they visited the street.
