Unfortunately not at all true. The Transition stuff he sells is pretty cool actually and has had some very decent write ups in the MTB mags.

Shameless plug, and the cost for sticking up for you Graham will be a 4-5" travel full susser (Bandit?) in the smallest size possible (not for me, ive got a big full susser but we have a few trips to some BIG hills planned this year and my wifes Scott scale prob wont cut it) please on long term loan.....

yum yum yum....

Even um, yum yummer....

The white bits are going to be black, and mine'll have a rear disc brake, but here's a piccy!

No worries James. Just got back from a week hammering my on-one round the North Yorkshire Moors. Love it. Did you go for an alfine hub or singlespeed? I tried singlespeed and ditched it. What a faff. I knew they invented gears for a reason....

Please tell me you didnt get a green one though.... Same colour as Iain! Here's his:

Boys you need to do your research.. I've been riding ATB's since before your daddies even knew they were invented...

and FYI, I currently ride a Covert with Hammerschmidt, every day twice a day, I bought my gaff because it's on a local ATB trail from where I can still see the sea and what it's doing..

Edit; 'we' never talk about those other things with wheels you recline on, lets just say they're illegal or should be.

Cool. I've had MTB's for prob over 20 years now Graham, may not be as long as you but then I'm nowhere near as old....

Whats the smallest frame size on a covert? And what do the frames retail at Graham? Any chance of a free one?

The Transition brand is pretty much Custom build, you buy just the frame. This season will be the first time they've ventured into full build ex Taiwan.

Any Chance of a free one? Two chances slim and none. Slim would involve you being a top flight rider or mag editor and then it would be a season loan.

I'm currently riding a medium which is probably a tad to big, the small I believe equates to a 17" check the website.

Covert frames retail at £1399 including shock.
