Robert Sheidt was babysitting his son
Today was wonderful although truth be known I felt a tad exhausted after yesterday and to have another day of 25knots was hardcore.
I only managed a 5th and a 6th but at least I didn't capsize.

I agree Jimbo, it does look fairly sweet.  The boat with 1 on the sail (just next to it) looks to be in a different cloth too, although this could be my eye sight!!

I'll tell you one thing though, those photos are really what i consider sailing/racing a dinghy about!  Blasting along with bags of spray, in a stunning setting racing friends or like minded people and coming off the water to a cool beer and a night of talking about boats and the days shenanigans!

It looks fantastic.....am i Jealous  Oh just a little bit!  Although i am doing the Lord Birkett at Ullswater this weekend, this event ticks all of the boxes above, for me!

BRILLIANT,

but I'm not sure Rodney would agree with the sentiment!

The boats may not be pretty, but they're begining to look pretty damn effective.

How cheap is a second hand one and how long will that mast last (regular 20 knot + sailing in waves with a kite on an unstayed rig)?

I've changed my mind about the looks now that the foredeck moulding
has been changed. It has a purposefulness about it that grows on
you... Well me anyway.

Interesting to see how people opinions have started to evolve.

Seems to ring a few bells.

The events look great and certainly are pulling in some quality sailors.

I don't think the deck tweak as made much difference to the overall look of the boat. I think some judged too early; perhaps jumped on the ugly bandwagon rather than form their own opinion.

Rodney has already pointed out the odd sail is an old development sail.
