Rearranged regatta...that's 'Ta, Great'! What's 3 across?
If you've got nothing useful to contribute on the subject...

Exactly! Sledging other folks classes is never interesting, if you've nothing positive or constructive say, then save yourself some time!

I was clearly trolling, but to be honest it was hardly news was it.
Sometimes I think this forum needs to understand that without a little trolling we would have no traffic here at all... But in all seriousness is it something to shout about? 17 boats in total entry for POSH is hardly something to scream about is it? Or am my wrong? Do people think that's a reasonable pre entry for a major summer event? It's been rearranged, I know as I was entered previously. But in my mind it's worth posting, and no smart ass comments would stop me posting it.

17 total... Good job the RS100 boys 'saved the day' then.... A bit like the Justice League, or was it Father's for Justice, I can't remember...
BTW- Nice to see Clive still sports stars on his hikers.... |

Hi all, just stumbled on this. I'm looking to get an RS100, but there are a few things stopping me. Firstly, the weight (am 60/65kg but 17 so still growing- also about 6 foot. I'm a dinghy instructor and sail inland). Secondly, am going to buy second hand, so what is depreciation like?

Interesting discussion on the RS100 forum about mainsail size and redesign... I rather like Al's suggestion in there, but as expected it would be a minority point of view. Nice to see the guys are being open about discussing it though:

As one of those on the lighter end of the scale I think the 8.4 is more than enough as an all rounder.
I don't want it going the 300 way where generally only larger or taller blokes are sailing it reasonably competitively. I always thought it was a shame the way the 300 went with the big rig dominating completely to more or less the exsclusion of lighter folks. |
