8. You can always have a shower after sailing.

9. Your mates will believe you when you tell them sailing stories.

10. It’s OK to sail with your brother or sister.

11. The rig stays up when you sail drunk.

12. You can usually stay up for longer than a few minutes on a Cherub.

13. If you get a small hole in a sail you can sill keep going but you may not come first.

14. It’s OK if you get the name of your boat wrong.

15. the thought of bending your pole doesn’t bring tears to your eyes.
