The quality of the production is excellent, I think that even if the boats in the videos were dull, it would still make brilliant viewing. Nice soundtrack, HD video, swiss lake and mountains... what's not to like?!

Good grief! I've just watched the Day 4 video and the elevated shots of the race course actually do justice to the speed and ability of the sailors - a rare thing for filming in our sport. Moths for the Olympics I say! |

Ha ha, that is me doing the dodgy cautious gybe on stilettos at 2.02min in the red Ninja. Days 1 and 5 were the lighter days and I didnt ride that high on the windy days in between. On days 2, 3 and 4 my max speed of the days were 24.2, 24.2 & 24.7kn! It snowed in the adjacent mountains during the 2 days before the event and the very cold water seamed to make foils more skiddy/ventilation (IMHO). Once the racing started the sun came out and the wind turned on like clockwork. The videos make it look awesome - and it was! Edited by Peter Barton |

Bit optimistic on their speed claims. Did not look anything lile 24 / 25kts!!! 24 or 25kph maybe. GPS or it did not happen. |
