All the hate and loathing for old boats, the disgust at the nostalgic people who try to bring older generations of boats back to the forefront of dinghy sailing and right there on your own boat you've slapped what looks remarkably like a fireball bow on the front of it.  

Graeme, just accept the fact that you're a sentimental old git and all this noise about ditching the old classes is just a vain attempt at covering up your desperate love and obsession for all those boats refusing to give in to time.   LOL

Is the centreboard surface piercing? Might be worth looking back at the early history of catamarans to see how quickly they abandoned that idea. And I thought you wanted a pivoting board in any boat you had, which would be doubly bad.
Does the reduction in wetted surface really make up for the added turbulence caused by having the hull divide?
I shall watch with interest, but so far I can't see this as the big breakthrough in dinghy design you were banging on about.
