Unforttunatly, I have got a reputation as a boat breaker, so really shouldn't comment.

Out of three CVRDA events, we have not yet finished one, without breaking something, at the first one (Whitefriars) we did not even finish the first race, at Hunts, (different helm and boat) borke the boat but finished all races, at Bough Beech (Broke the boat (TWICE)), but finished and still won.

I just wonder, what I will break at the next event!! (Probably Thames)!!

I broke the goose neck on my boom last year. My kicker
broke, the boom shot up and snapped the goose neck. Was
bloody scary, one minute we were bombing along, having a
great time. Then suddenly, BANG.
