jonster, I have reluctantly decided to sell my phantom K88.  As you might guess from the sail number the boat is probably the oldest phantom in the country, but she is still sound and has been sailed a lot this summer.  What she needs is stripping down (again) repainting and having the decks done with epoxy rather than just varnish, some new fittings putting in and the foils refurbishing.  The mast and boom are not ideal but will do, and the sail is good (nowhere near as old as the boat itself)

I have just bought a vintage i14 and so do not have time or garage space for both boats.  Plus I also sail a contender...

It strikes me that such a refurbishment might be an ideal winter project for someone with the right skills to transform a very nice dinghy with lots of potential.  If you look on the phantom site you will see there is already an active classic side to the phantom fleet.

I don't want a lot of money for the boat and I really don't want to have to put her on ebay.  If you might be interested send me a PM.

Nessa
the same, but different...
