It was designed and built by a very good friend of mine Ron Price who is a Senior Lecturer at Southampton Institute, sorry I mean Solent University. It is absolutely amazing - to look at in real life and to watch on the water. Basically when Ovi's were looking for a singlehanded asymmetrical dinghy to sell Ron missed the deadline by 4 hours to the Musto Performance Skiff. Needless to say when the Musto Skiff went into production and 1 arrived at Netley Sailing Club, the Micro Skiff absolutely anialated it on the water...think that photo above shows how and why!! |

It's 12ft long, how can that be too big? Open 60's are single handed too, they must be waaay to big then. |

looks like a simple matter of having a hell of a lot more rag, wouldnt want it in much more than a force three. unless you had a hell of a lot of lard. that said i still want one!! Edited by mike ellis |

It is 16ft wide though, a 600 is only 6'4-7ft. |
