The mix of strength varies from club to club, but I would include the following in the Premiership;

Itchenor
Lymington Town
Salcombe

somehow WPSNA has to be in there, though not strictly a club, but it has fantastic facilities, great sailing water and first class race management

Chew
Queen Mary
Restronguet

Should also get mentioned in despatches

P.S. Any idea why the formatting of posts on this forum have gone awry?  They  look fine in preview but don't have the line a paragraph breaks when published

No idea on the formatting, but I agree with all those suggestions. Which to relegate though?

When I started doing some number crunching on Open results a few years ago I pretty much got the same as the above with one or too not necessarily massive clubs but have a core of really good sailors. Staunton Harold and Notts Country were two of the clubs which seemed to fair quite well. Northampton was another one, but that was probably set off by having allot of P&B sailors there
