Superhero Icon Sailors? I would have thought Ninja Turtles a more appropriate description..

Looking like we may have to be a little more selective with the distribution of Brandy & Babycham Smile I always favoured Batman, just a little more edgey with a hint of the dark side?

While we are on the subject of super heros, what was the camel called in Scoobydoo and the snake in the Sooty Show?

No NOT Green !   (but always available if you are keen on that sort of thing on receipt of a very large deposit)

Icon has previously sported a very near 'all white' face to the world... white hull, white mast etc.  Some have told us that 'you' lot don't immediately see a 'high spec' boat in this very practical finish .... so in the interests of the marketing gods that rule all of us the show boat has gone the other way.

Apparently 'you' lreally iked the recent pictures of the 'dark boat' so  ....   the show one will be very 'carbon' in all its glory etc and black.  Black carbon 'bits', carbon rig in clear finish and even black trimmed North sails and logo etc.

Standard colour schemes are now also available but in the Devoti manner you can have any colour you like now for a modest price hike.  Available almost everywhere through Devoti and agents and also here in the UK and Ireland via us lot at Cirrus.    This time round the show boat will be on the Devoti stand...

Very soon we will be making 2 more  Icons demo boats available for longer loans of 4-6 weeks and  all we ask is that you get to know them and race them whenever possible.  Cirrus are sorting arrangements now ... so if any forumites are interested get in touch (direct) now at or before the show.   You can also discuss this offer with MIKE BELL - the Icon CA Secretary.

Well that's an enthusiastic response to forming a CA, although Mike's 'sensible' post seems to have scared people off..........  Smile

Anyway, I'll be at the dinghy show on Saturday - perhaps anyone interested meet at the Icon stand at 2pm?

Otherwise I'll be on the Blaze stand.

Mike.
