Dacron outlasts laminates by quite a way on jibs. Miracle class rules don't allow laminates sails anyway.

Its long time since I last bought sails, but I notice that there is quite a large proportion of makers cutting radial sails, in line with the more widespread use of laminate cloths.
Is there any advantage/disadvantage in laminate radial cut jibs versus dacron cross cut jibs for small boats. The miracle I have at the moment only has quite a small area and I am thinking that a dacron crosscut jib might be better option, due to its inherent overall ruggedness. The radial designs I have seen do look snappy though....
