Agreed, but it is still in a way promoting the "H2", centreboard chat prompted by H2's centreboard being strong enough to stand on end, which is a good thing, the Lark which is a very tippy boat and is likely to need more righting than the H2, you cannot stand on end, which could be a bad thing.

Though the Lark was another successful One Design spinoff from the Merlin Rocket and National 12 classes ... If would be great if 2500 or so H2s made it to the water ...

Oh! I never thought of that!
Just for info, the H2 centreboard has multiple laminations of unidirectional carbon, so should be pretty bulletproof. The biggest problem with it is that it is very slippery!

What's your club, iGRF? There is an H2 at Netley SC all this week if that's convenient. We have two demo boats and only need two or three interested people to ask us along to your club and we will arrange a date. Our production capacity is only 2-3 boats per month and we have been going just over two months so you can work out how many H2s are around. There are two on the South Coast (plus the one at Netley) and two due to be delivered to East Coast customers.

We're at Hythe, Kent, which is in the South East of Gods county. I'll google Netley in a minute to see how far it is, see if I can drag him off the Golf Course, he's out of action at the moment broke his rudder the other night so in the frame of mind for a change.

Edit.. Netley.. opposite the 'wrong' Hythe... bit of a distance our lot think you fall off the edge of the world if you leave Kent. If you have anything going on nearer here, let me know, pm or something.

We have two Hadron H2 demo boats which are available for any competent and competitive helm to sail at any GJWDirect Sailjuice winter series event. We can bring the boats to the event - you just need to enter the race. Any takers?

Can you get a boat to the Bloody Mary? - If so I will be a 'taker' of one of them. Missed my chance when they were at Burghfield!
