Well I'm thinking / hoping RS will do a good job of keeping the class active. I guess this is marking the end for laser performance?

I've spent many hours in the L2K since the RAF dropped the Enterprise for it.
I think that what they're for they're excellent - we teach in them with 1 Instructor and 3 adult students and they do the job well.  Class racing is excellent and they're good for team-racing also.
 
I do find it bizarre that Laser are ditching what is a successful boat! Confused

It was the only one of the x000s that the remains of Laser Performance still sold wasn't it? Interesting that LDC have picked it up, though it does sit in a niche that the neither the 200 or 400 quite fill.

As maxi says, it is too heavy, but otherwise it really is a rather well designed boat.

Don't know if this has been done on the forum already, but what do we recon?
