Sounds like you need to take the whole halyhard out and untwist it.

As a back up I do have an new 400 spinny halyard in my bag which i think would do a better job.

Hi Alex, Keith
I'll untwist it all and see if that helps.  Alex thanks for the very generous offer!

I had a good day yesterday but (with the 8.4) we 100s both got completely whooped by the phantom fleet and a couple of 300s  - not a chance upwind.

Still it was fun
Dave

I'll stick to Welsh :-p

Anyway....

33 Entered for the nationals so far, 9 days left for early discount (I must send that cheque off)
Could be second highest fleet after the 200's (4's on 34)

Hi folks,

I spotted a 2nd hand 'Hun here in Italy. It seems a mid-2010 boat, quite new and hardly sailed...

Just a question: have RS improved the boat in any way during the last year? Did they change anything in the newer production runs?

Cheers,

The only serious modification that has happened in the past year is that the mast has now got a metal rubbing strip, where it is at deck level to add extra protection to the carbon.

where are things on the older boats getting the mast modification. Is there going to be a retro fit kit supplied? Not heard much on this lately.
Cheers, Keith.
