Well that does it then Smile  If you can find your way to Broxbourne in September we will see you there!  If you are worried that you may break your 29er (I'm assuming that it will take a while to sell) you can use one of the club boats that will be available at a small increase in entry fee Wink

Graeme, That's so sad Unhappy  I guess that show the comitment that James has for his chosen sport.  I guess that it's lucky that he didn't choose to sing castrato Ouch

The question is will Pondmonkey manage to grow a shaggy, grey beard in time for FOM 2013 in keeping with his peer group?  If not should we adjust his PY in line with variations from FOM class rules Wink

I don't get what's being intimated here, why is a 29er regarded as 'too fast' you can't mean literal speed over the water, do you mean because it'll get clobbered on handicap? We had other big boats there, RS400, Icons and that XI riverboat thing cluttering up the start line (I'd like to have had a bash at that with the Alto).

These people in 29ers they're not young people are they, they won't go home blubbering to mummy that the big  old boys made them drink strong drink and made them sick and they wet themselves and everyone laughed at them in their pointy nose girly boat?

I s'pose if we're going to let anyone come we could get some GP14ers in, make them fetch and carry stuff for us, no way they'll ever buy a drink though.. Then maybe some Enterprise sailors they'd make good foot stools..

I seriously hope that by next September I'll be sailing an RS800, otherwise I'll have spent an entire season trying to sell my boat, and missed some of the best sailing for fear of breaking it when some buyer will inevitably come along, it's Sod's law.
