I understand the owner has already ordered orange (tangerine ) control line and burgee to match the Gulf colour scheme, it should be noted perhaps that Aston Martin still use these colours for their 2012 LM car, as do McLaren for their MP4/12C (racing version), so may be not entirely 70s, unlike its owner Cool

Just changed the thoughts on the colour of our boat - Silver Decks and Dark Metallic Grey Hull. I've written to Martin Whitmarsh, and told him how much per anum it'll cost him and who'll be his driver for this season (If I need champagne for the launch, I'll need serious sponsorship I suppose and then there's all that beer at the FOM next year). 
I lost my Ronstan sponsorship earlier this season ....... read into that what you like!! So unless Sandiline steps in it'll just have to be McLaren

Bah. As per the Gulf colours, blue with an orange waterline band would have been even better
Edit: if a customer (don't get me wrong, not me, I've not got the money to buy a boat) wanted the sails trimmed in a different colour tape, would that be an option?

McLaren really should be all orange, CanAm cars? Or may be red, McLaren BRM V12 1967 Canadian GP?
