I thought of it too this morning... just as a realised it was bin day and I had forgotten to put the recycling out.

Can anyone ever contemplate recyling the V-Twin?  Am at the Devoti factory (-14 outside) and I wouldn't dare show anyone here pictures of the V-Twin Shocked  Well, not without a health warning at the very least LOL

Well it's preying on the mind of Mrs iGRF at the moment and she wants shot of it, I'm not sure what i want to do about it, I've already got clear in my mind what I want to do next and what to take forward from it and what to change, what it needs in its current incarnation is a 49er rig on it, which would really make it fly, but that obviously isn't any good to me as a single hander and now I've found a little beauty anyway in the shape of this EPS, which has demonstrated that my technique is still way off the pace, I'm in a quandary as to what to do. It's hardly something you can bung on ebay, it still needs a repair to the bow which last seasons weather didn't exactly encourage one to do outside and it's too big to block up the warehouse mid season, so it sits there under wraps..

I turned down the request for global distribution rights by Suntouched, I mean how could you be represented by team calling itself 'Russboy and Rodders' and that yellow Reliant?

Graeme, I fully understood why you would not accept us as dealers.  How could I possibly raise my game to supplying such a high end, eletist product.  I am not sure, however, that you have done the right thing by appointing Carlo Biggs, the well known cut and shut car dealer, as your worldwide distributor Confused

In his biography, Paul Elvstrom mentions an idea he had for an 18' x 6' singlehander with a sliding seat. Once built he sailed it just once, found it was so awful that it went straight on the bonfire.

At least is was burnable (is that a word?) and PE had the grace to accept defeat  Smile  I am guessing that iGFR will have to buy his own landfill site or bury it in his back garden  LOL

That's the trouble, if it were awful the solution would be simple, just scrap it, but it's not, it's a real hoot to sail, it flys a hull, it goes quite quick especially on flat water, but it's really a two man deal, it's too big and too heavy for one person to manouvre on our beach and too big for the lake.

If I sailed at one of the big inland, or estuary clubs I'd bother to repair and re rig it LARGE, it could take a 49er rig easy and twin wiring it off those racks I'd imagine would be something else, the trouble also is you'd have to know a bit what you're doing to put it all together, anyway I'm not under too much pressure just yet as the Mrs owes me big time having hidden the fact one of the daughters of darkness knicked my snowboard pants thereby forcing me on my recent trip in womens size small and letting me search the entire house from the loft down looking for them the night before I had to leave at 4am even though she knew where they were, so she can stfu for the moment.
