I'm now committed to going south.

Was playing along at about 44S thinking I'll dive up north this afternoon;shame I hit pilot-on-wind and I now have a gentle curve south and now I cannot get above the ridge so I am going to try going deep south; wait a bit and try coming up the middle of the Indian ocean in a day or 3; hopefully in for a wild ride in the meantime!

I bailed out of going South yesterday evening. Found an optimum course that keeps me on the ridge to the north of the weather system. Will have to gybe back this evening probably to stay in good pressure.
Its a tricky game when you only login once a day when you get home from work!

Still going east ! Trying to find an elusive strip of wind to take me North.

I must have been one of the first to the scoring gate but not sure if it counts for anything in the game.

Down to about 67000 but hopefully turning North for good tommorow!

I started late in Dangerous Strawberry and didn't realise there was a mark to round. So I went North, aiming West of Madagascar to get into the wind channel. Now I'm back on track, but on the West of the course and it's looking like I'm going to be headed more and more as I come into the mark. But I've got a big lift for the next 24hrs so I'm going to hit east hard.

Warmer Penguins....

Going NE at present few 100 miles north of the Kerguelen's; hoping to catch some metter angles tonight / Sat AM; but I will be out for the Sat AM wind change....
