Anyway...on a more serious note

Now that the slalom has finished...the final results can be found here   http://results05.grafham.org/slalom05_h.html

In the overall placings... 

1st  Simon Hadley & Pete Nicholson in their B14 from Brightlingsea SC

2nd Alisdair James in his Asymmetric Canoe from GWSC

3rd John Reynolds & Fran Howell in their Laser4000 from GWSC (u go!!!  )

The Laser 4000 results were:-

1st John Reynolds and Fran Howell 4682  GWSC

2nd Liam Pike and John Ellingham 4577(Lakeside SC)

3rd Marcus Fleming and Kita Carpenter  4591 GWSC

and if anyone wants to know the rest...then they'll hav 2 look themselves

You should move up North. Today (well strictly yesterday now)  - first race F4 gusting F5 and sunny - brilliant conditions. Second Race started as F3-4  but then shifted and increased to a F6+  when mother of a squall hit and entire fleet capsized/wiped out. Luckily only damage included a smashed rudder, ripped sails and a few scratches/ gouges on hulls, faces etc!

Those windsurfers who had been caught out there with 6m or 7 m sails were wasted while those  on shore scurried around rigging their 4.5m and then screaming around using their mates as gybe marks!

Epic.

No, not in Hemel, but the house shook and woke me and the wifee up.

 

Gas leak fixed.

 

Still got the cold of doom.  Are you all planning to do the Xmax persuit race - I really need start time for me Hcap 732

Nice day.  Not a lot of wind, I've got the cold of doom and I'm trying to fex a gas leak.
