although with a boom length that long, I fail see ease of use being one of its charming characteristics.

I don't have any as I prefer Ezzy sails, but UK brand Tushingham have launched a lighter weight, general purpose recreational sail that's easier on the wallet than the rest of pack... so going in the right direction and Roger Tush sails a Solo...

There's a move in windsurfing to cash in on the increasing popularity of Stand Up Paddleboarding a sport popularised by the Gender imbalanced and bicurious males, there will be inflatable boards with centreboards, that are quite rigid thanks to drop stitch technology which employs hundreds of stitches that link the deck to the base so make the crafts quite light, portable and easily stored, so there is a requirement of an easily stored rig, the idea is to bring windsurfing back to the masses.

I had considered an inflatable sailboat using similar technology but at over £2000.00 it wouldn't be cheap enough for the parsimonious market place.

Tushingham with their brand Red, are currently the world market leaders in iSUPs (inflatable stand up paddle boards) something I'm contemplating trying to do something to erode, hence how I know all this stuff.

Listed in the results as a 'Try 18', it sails off a PY of 747 and goes like stink.
It's also reasonably handy at tacking out of the river...

£900 for a fekkn paddle board yeah right!

You should be able to pick up an old Topper hull for much less than that - which would do nicely I'd think  Ermm

No but all the others have- they can retail for upto £600 for a race spec blade... Personally I'd just stick with an old orange 'praddle' that I had with my Oppy.
