A bit premature with the mouse, sorry.  What I meant to say was.....

I quite like the single toe straps; I don’t think I have noticed any problems using them at all and in fact I tend to forget that they are in any way different.  Nice and easy to get your feet under after a tack and less stuff to get in the way during a tack.

Two toe straps, ideally adjustable. Two guys sharing the same toe straps felt awful to me - very uncomfortable each time the crew moved.. I'm hoping two straps (per side) are standard

On the the subject of whats the other other boat in the photo .... yep its another of those old guys boats (60yr old boat and 60yr old sailors) getting to close to an icon for comfort -  but based on the photo what worries me is that either the iCON should be sailing off about 1058 or the Finn should be off 1022 Ermm ....... back to the handicap bandit debate ....... then

Hi Guys

I'll be delighted if you would like to let the sailjuice guys know what a nasty and unfair handicap they imposed on us last year and that they really really should have Icon on 1058 this time around.

And while you are at it please let Burghfield handicappers know as well....  they have been are absolutely horrible to us over the last 18 months and the Dancing Farmer has occasionally taken to muttering into his orange juice in a most aggressive manner ... in between the abundant tears.

Help save us from further displays of his dancing ... and bestow upon Icon the handicap so deserved before it is too late...   He does drive a large combine and other weapons of mass destruction and we don't want it to get 'nasty' do we ?

Mike L.

PS - Or are those EPS' sailing to their true handicap...   GRF in an obvious bandit ... ?  No surely not !

1058?
So slower than an RS200?
only microscopic speed increase over an Albacore?

So much for the hype.

'400'

Yes at last you have the awful truth - Icon is barely faster than an Albacore ... it is just we have not yet an 'appropriate' handicap yet.  If you would like to help our appeal for a 'fairer' number please tell all your friends, plus any handicappers you know.

Rodney is so wrong .... it really is true and you were always right to question the enthusiasm.  So help us restore at least some respectability and dignity - you know it is the charitable thing to do and yes ... the right thing.  Remember it 'does not matter about speed or ... even going moderately swiftly'  1058 so we can have a chance ...

Mike L.

PS - Good grief - are 200's really that fast ... I never knew .

Mike,
what number would you like?
we can change everything else to suit.

It's a moving target anyway, I fully expect the RS400 will get either 1 or two points faster over the winter.
Question is, will the Merlin end up in 3 figures?
