My 3p worth as an ex owner of Blaze's.

Don't worry too much about the condition of your first Blaze sail, it's worth upgrading after you've sailed it for a couple of months (or many depending on how often you get out).  The semi battened sails last a long time and even a really worn rag is good enough for a laugh in F4 or more.

Do pay attention to the slot gasket underneath and mast step & foot.  The slot gasket is easy enough to sort and there's plenty of tips about - having a loose one or crappy condition will be like chucking an anchor over the back.   If the boat's been abandoned most likely it has a tin mast, since sailing them with very loose shrouds some have well-worn mast foots/steps, just check you're getting a good fit to avoid any jumpiness when gybing in fresher/windy conditions.

If where you sail is suitable, RS600 or MPS!
