Just thought I would share last nights sailing with you all. I am trying out a new club, I’ve just got a new job with this firm as a cleaner, all speak French and babble on about euros and tax and stuff. Took my girlfriend down yesterday, she didn’t want to go as she had just had her hair done. Felt dead proud as she is fit, though probably won't last.  I thought I had better dress a bit tidy as it’s a posh club, my usual gear is a ‘Stranglers’ T shirt and my board shorts. Borrowed my mates Beemer, he doesn’t know yet! 

Any way got down there some old pensioner in a really nice laser kept trying to beat me, he kept shouting something about Supernova’s! I think he might be an ‘end of the world’ nut. Finally some crazy middle aged woman with hair extensions and fake tan in one of those fantastic Solo boats started throwing herself about in the boat, tacking every 2 minutes and shouting she had rights, (she was on port) because she’s a woman and OCS doesn’t apply because she is 50!!!!   Not sure I'm going again!!
