Straight, additives would have been a waste of time, you can't turn the clock back that far.

Hope you saved a bottle for boat naming duties. When do you collect it and where abouts do you sail?

I think the real thing will be required for the naming, my home clubs are West Riding and Yorkshire Dales, I hope mid August for delivery. It is quite a change for me to have a crew and a boat which is comparatively light weight and all the changes that brings, once we are match fit I would hope to do some travelling.

.... so sounds like we better organise an XXL shirt then ! I assume this Icon was/is ordered via Rodney Cobb.
Anyway TR welcome if you are now 'in line' for one, you will not be disappointed and we think you will be very pleasantly surprised. But as you will need to keep the crew happy (don't we all) you better let Rodney (or us) know the size - I'm assuming not another XXL at this point ! Mike L. (Cirrus) |

Many thanks, she has been ordered through Rodney, he also looks after my Finns. Regarding crew size I really am too polite to ask her but would think small. I am really looking forward to this new project.

We went for the option without thwart, main sheet off the boom and dangly pole, I guess if you are going to do it then no compromises! She needs to be true to her heritage.

That is definitely the right set up in my opinion. Makes it very spacious, fast and easy to sail. Looking forward to seeing pics of a Devoti built Icon!
