So I now have raced all 4 laser rigs (OK the 8.1 is a Rooster, not a Laser) in club races.

Is this a first?

I have only used the 4.7 in F6+ and lots of fun it is then - famously being the only person to stay out with messrs Craig and Gilbert a while back.

If you include the Rooster, then there's 5! Only 4 current ones, admittedly, but hey if you're gonna try and claim a record, make it a thorough one ....!

Radial, 4.7 and full rig are the official laser rigs, right?

Ah, Laser trivia - M rig was the other one, similar in area to the Radial which replaced it, but don't think it ever became popular

I'd forgotten about the M Rig - Wikipedia says:

Laser M

A third and lesser-known variant is the Laser M Rig. This sail was the first attempt at making a smaller rig for smaller sailors. It employed the same stiff lower mast section, but a shorter top section. The design failed. The M Rig was often more difficult to handle upwind than a standard rig, due largely to the very stiff mast sections, which prevented the effective depowering of the sail.
