Hopefully DZero at battle of classes, Southampton boat show. Do give a crap about handicap as a new Tera would buoy the coffers nicely.  Smile

I am OOD for it at our club.....but problem getting 25 boats so I may have to farm the duty off to a non-sailor, be that the case I will be in Lightning at Combs.

Isn't Sir Ben entered at QMSC? Tempting to get a visitor pass there for the day, see if I can't get revenge for the '91 youth nationals!

Blackwater SC along with Stone SC, Marconi SC, Goldhanger SC and Maylandsea Bay SC in a joint effort on the river Blackwater, in a K6.  Starts at 11am.

We have separate courses on the river for cruisers and dinghies in interest of safety and a optimist course on the BSC lake after the river racing is completed so everyone can come watch the youngsters try and win it.  All are welcome to join in us, no fees apart from the voluntary contribution to Barts Bash.

I'll be doing my first ever race as a Mirror crew, from Bosham.

Not sure if the boat has a spinnaker yet....but it's all about the learning experience for the young helm.

Manor Park for me in my EPS .... as with Tick, though, we're farming a few duties out to non-sailors/parents in order to try to reach the 25 boat requirement.

We've actually moved our final Junior Sail of the year to the Sunday rather than the Saturday in another attempt to boost numbers - as well as making it a bit of a 'Family Day' (Barbecue, games for the kids, family sailing etc).....I know it's probably driven by the record requirements, but 25 is a lot of boats for a minimum requirement. We're working quite hard in the hope to reach that goal.
