	Any high profile brand, with perceived 'quality' (whatever that might be) and loadsa money behind it will do! Virgin seems to fit the bill... He already has a maritime connection in the pursuit of records, but equally BAE Systems, BA, Rolls Royce (as in aero engines, not German cars!)... The list goes on.

	Me thinks Branson has risen above earthly pleasures, Virgin Galactic starts commercial flights next year. Looking through last years UK rich list for another suitable candidate: http://www.therichest.com/rich-list/nation/sunday-times-rich-list/ .....anyway, if Branson financed a british boat he'd want to skipper it.

	Not sure if it suits Bransons usual model. I'd rather see something along the original TNZ model, a solid group of 5 main sponsors rather than being reliant on a single main source.

	A excellent spot, I've no idea of Newey's prowess as a hydrodynamics expert, but Ferrari, McLaren, and Mercedes would be leaping up and down with glee if it happened. Design has to be top of the list surely, BA mentioned recently there are only about 4 people who could design a boat with a chance to win, who would they be then?
