OK, I was away so I watched TG on iPlayer and OMG what an unbelievably fantastic machine this thing looked like.... no, I'll never afford one or the house with race-track next-door you'd really need to actually get the best out of it, but....
... it started me thinking, what, money no object, is the thing you most desire in your sailing life?

Mine would be a nice new, very shiny, red, all-the-bells-and-whistles i14

Mine was the new Canoe I had to pull the plug on 'cause the body is letting me down...

But we dinghy sailors are very lucky: even the most expensive of dinghies is vaguely affordable for most if they can prioritise it above other expensive hobbies like wives, girlfriends and children, and is more fun than anything a billionaire can buy...

Merlin Rocket for me and the missus.
5o5 - for me and a mate
Finn for me.
Like some other things - sailing is more enjoyable when you do it with someone else

Isn't it a shame, there's nothing built I would lust after with the exception of that Aura, converted to run single handed, so I guess if money were no object then it would be the V3 which I'm more confident I'd get right this time.

D1, and I'll crew the 5oh with you Roger, even though I'm not a gorilla.

but I'd also like to have my classic 14 fitted out for me with the absolute best kit and superb new sails
the same, but different...

A wacking great boathouse next to an amazing piece of sailing water where I can sail any one of my huge fleet of dinghies, which are stored under cover, pulled up on a shallow ramp, with masts up, just pull the sails up, paddle out through the electrically operated full height doors and go.

Not sure what the boats would be, but would certainly include a keelboat (kept in a cradle just above the water), a singlehander or 7, and a few doublehanders. And a fleet of something one design so everyone can come round to play together.
