See Harry Potter does not die in the last book. He just emigrates to NZ, eats lots of pies and buys a Finn

Some 12' action from today, don't worry about the copyright chaps as I took them!

Bearing in mind they are unedited and I was driving the RIB I'm quite pleased with them...(don't worry H&S people, we had an empty lake and as I normally sail that boat I kinda know where it's going next!)

Are 12's meant to sail on their ear like that with the kite up?

That's part of the reason the most popular 12 design has soft bilges and lots
of flare; so they can flop over under their big kites and still keep on
trucking.

The same hull is used under a 120 (approx) rig for the Kiwi R Class, but they
sail in such a windy area that they have many of the same handling issues.

The monster kite + pole cause a bit of lee helm that the heel corrects (apparently).
