Anyone got any previous experience of travel insurance that covers dinghy sailing, not going on a sunsail holiday, more for attending championships abroad. I've found dogtag via the nobel website, don't bother posting a google link I can manage that myself, just after any recommendations. Cheers Gareth Europe 391 |

I use snow card to cover me for my Skiing edventures and they also cover me for sailing offshore.

You can spec up the level of cover for each activity you do and for how long. I think my personal cover for me and the whole family (me for racing cover sailing offshore, and for Skiing off piste(with and without a guide) and racing is about £200 PA).
Appears to be very good value as you can spec the level of cover for each activity and so you are paying for the actual risk, not just "dangerous sports". The expensive bit (IIRC) is having racing cover for sailing more than a couple of miles off shore. They also have sensible underwriters, they covered a friend this year less than a year after she did a knee skiing when all the other companies wanted at least 12 months after the Ski accident before they would cover here even when her consultant saidf she was fine to ski.
