Once round leave Bass rock to port. most of the vid is off the short course racing because the camera batteries ran out.

the rock is very impresive close up. alot of gannets and puffins dont look up  makes a nice change from the normal race format, different tactics required. Kit got it right leaving the rock very wide and finished first on the water ahead of the 49er/14s and almost 1hour head of the rest of the mps.

Hetor yes we are doing the Birkett, tactics follow the Nobels and keep away from the 18s

How far is it; Looks like it's only a few miles away.  Maybe 5 miles offshore ?
