The kite was an old 13m cherub kite. Worked ok  - but the rig needed caps!! HAHA! bit bendy uptop.

Yer, a mirror boom I think we used - all that was layin about at the time

Dabchick, designed by Jack Koper. He also designed bigger scows, namely
the Sonnet (the bigger two-teen version) and the Tempo (Fireball size and
speed).

While scows look a bit ugly to some eyes, they are quick and stable.....why
don't we have more of them??

We used to have a Dabchick when I was sailing in Malawi, Think my Parents got it in SA and shipped it up. Nice and simple, really good fun, but then again anything that was on the water and in the sun was good fun
