sorry andy but that was not the case at draycote! they were slower down wind than the 18s prob a little faster than the 49ers (so still very good for a boat that is 12ft)  but slow upwind more like a 29er....

well....

sell my 600 = 2.5k...
+ 1k(ish) out the savings = 3.5k...
+2k (fancy giving me a present anyone? ) = 5.5k

Should be able to get a second hand MPS for that price with a bit of hunting, am i wrong?

Ok Ian ( I was miss informed), I wasnt out there as kept on filling with water and falling over backwards by the time the wind came in, we were onshore!!

But we did notice the 3man bear away of a certain Base 1 nearly mashing a 29er! Not as good as one of the other 18's, cant rem which, but bore away in the path of a 9er, noticed then flutered up - nearly wiping out another one!! HAHAHA!

ture there was some very close calls with 29ers and are fixed poles....

Apologies’ to any 29er sailors I scared!!

Perhaps this incident is due to trying to avoid the camera boat in the first place.
