Thanks TT, brightened up boring times at work after a long weekend of sailing.
Back when I was a nipper, the older sailors had a somewhat different view of things - however windy it got, it was always "only top end of 4" right up to the point where the boat was disappearing in the troughs with white everywhere. It appeared to be deemed a bad show to boast about how windy it was. In its own way, just as misleading as the Y&Y scale! |
