Yeah definately a bimble even if it doesnt work!

You should get in the habit of holding your mainsheet in your tiller hand downwind, that way you can adjust it. If you had a splice into your spinni-sheets I can imagine it getting caught on the blocks or you'd end up with the join being right where you need to hold the sheet to play it.

Do padded cushions on the thwart count as a pimp?

Nah- you need battery powered waterproof wirless speakers (possibly mounted in hatch covers) and an mp3 player with a wirless transmitter. Clearly.

For some proper pimpness, what about getting all the
aluminium parts of the boat chromed. like the racks,
tiller, rudder stock. and then have the kite bag made of
a really leary leopard print fur material.
