Last year's race didn't take place. There was going to be a $1M prize fund, entry was going to be $8k plus $20k for the prize fund. All sorts of nasty things going on - competitors suing the organiser for the return of their money, that sort of thing... |

Worral 1000 is now dead in the water. As GM says all sorts of very dodgy things going on. There are legal impications in the USA so I would stear well clear of making any comments. However there are plans for an Atlantic 1000, which is made up of the "Tybee 500" and Outer Banks 500 (OBX 500) races. |
