should be but we have to do all of the slow speed stuff. so it means going sub 10 knots all the time. and if it is breezy the breeze will get under the tubes going downwind and make it really unconfortable cause they are small ribs. r u at southampton uni knightmare

What happens if some less knowlegeable person just rocks it back on to its launching trailer jim, or as they pull it up a shroud gets caught on a tie down etc etc.  I saw it happen with a merlin rocket before, it was un-damaged after being blown over as some good do-er picked it up it bounced on its launching trailer poping 3 of the plants

No-one ever damages a boat picking it up, the damage is always done as it goes over. Law of nature...

Dont right them as you could damage it.  Charlie ollys boat has blown over and iains boss, causing a hole in side deck and hull, he looks like he is going to either cry or thump someone.

The big question is if you find a boat blown over that' not causing damage to your own boat or anyone elses: do you right it or leave it as it is?

I know its the 'nice friendly' thing to right it and tie it back down, but what if you damage the boat rolling it back up right? Even if it was wind damage, the owner still may claim the damage was your fault. Could land you more grief than its worth with our current claim culture!

Just something to think about...

comments from James last night were that the groung is so soggy at Grafham that some ties downs were pulling out - hence why I have plenty of them to spread the load out !
