What colour is the boat? Colour is always worth creating a bad pun around. Fpr instance if the boat is just finished in Varnish you could call it 'Morning Wood'

My boat names to date:

Yellow Peril (topper I had when I were a lad)

Murphy's Lore - Lightning 368, which had a dark brown hull and a cream deck. Looked like a pint of Murphy's of you squinted. However it was known locally as 'the flying sh*te'.

My Laser never had a name as they're all the same.

My RS300 was bought with money I had saved for an engagement ring (unbeknownst to my now-wife). Hence it is now called "Kate's Ring". Which someone found offensive whilst everyone else found it tittersome...

Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and
oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital
ingredient in beer.

How about calling it "Ian"?

As in Europe-Ian

When I named my Hurricane, "Higgins" made the shortlist!
